9 Tips to Increase Visibility in Your Virtual Assistant Business

For years, I remained behind the scenes in my business. In fact, that's how I have been throughout my life. I saw myself as the person manning the engine room while others show up in the spotlight. 

However, as I got deeper in business, I realized that my approach wasn't going to help me to be successful. I needed to step out of my comfort zone...mindset shift

Saying you have a virtual assistant or virtual service-based business is good. But getting people to know about it is what will help you share your knowledge and become successful. If nobody knows you exist then what?

Here are 9 tips to help you become more visible in your virtual assistant business:

  1. Network: Attend industry events and connect with potential clients and partners. We have a fantastic community inside The Successful VA Club.

  2. Create Content: Produce high-quality content that showcases your expertise and demonstrates your value.

  3. Use Social Media: Use social media platforms to reach a wider audience and engage with potential clients. (Here’s Chelsea’s Social Media Crash Course to get you set up on social media.) After you’ve created your accounts, it’s time to create posts and schedule them. We use PromoRepublic.

  4. Make Search Engine Optimization a Habit: Optimize your website and online content to rank higher in search results and increase visibility. (Check out Tara’s Easy SEO Course for help with SEO.)

  5. Speak in Public: Offer to speak at events or webinars to increase your exposure and credibility. (Check out this Gary’s Free Webcam Workshop with tips to help you look professional on camera.)

  7. Advertise: Consider investing in paid advertising to reach a larger audience and get more eyes on your products and services.

  8. Ask Clients for Referrals: Encourage satisfied clients to refer others to your business, which can help to increase your visibility and credibility. Consider starting an affiliate programme and paying them a commission as an incentive.

By implementing a combination of these strategies, you can increase your visibility and reach a wider audience, helping to grow your business and attract new customers.
